Biographies? What's Your Favourite Biography On Film?

Great question. I tend to love biopics about musicians, so I love Amadeus and Walk the Line. A great biopic that I just saw for the first time is The Agony and the Ecstasy, which tells the story of Michelangelo (Charlton Heston) painting the Sistine Chapel at the behest of Pope Julius II (Rex Harrison). Since you enjoyed Pollock, you might enjoy this biopic about another great artist.

Hi Kid Hendrix, I agree with you Michelangelo film was excellent. Film was based on book by Irving Stone. His book was also basis for Lust For Life ( Van Gogh ) film. Irving Stone wrote as if he, were one among the number of artists around at that time. I've seen Van Gogh film and read the book also. Both, I really enjoyed.
