Depends where you are, where you're importing things from, and what relationships already exist between supplier and distributors in the area.

With something like Apple, they very strongly control their distribution channels. You can't just randomly import things and be an Apple authorized reseller. Not how it works.

I'm sorry to break the news to you, but you can't do it. At least you won't be able to import the exact items with their logos and all on it. You can import imitations, but you can't import the real thing.

The reason being, Apple and other big companies have contracts which give them first, and only, dibs on their stuff.

I know this only because there was a time back when I was buying and selling cell phones (like on craigslist and ebay) and I wanted to cut out the middle man. But it just can't be done (sob!).

Unless, of course, you are an authorized dealer with that company. In this case though, you are buying in bulk from that company, still not importing, and you're paying a very high cost.

Whenever, if ever, you see someone selling items (like iPhones) in bulk, brand new, still in their boxes, for extremely low prices, they're stolen. It's a sad, sad thing.
