What tires should I buy for my 8th gen Honda Civic Si Coupe?
I recently purchased an 8th generation Honda Civic Si Coupe. I would like to know, what are a good set of tires for it? I have the special edition wheels. I think they are 17 inches. Everything on the car is stock.

It would appear that you are addicted to texting for buying tires for any automobile is a rather personal process. Asking via a text to this site is demonstrative of your condition. This is related to your age and the bias that smartphone and its constant use has created in your brain. Purchasing tires can be a rather complex task. You do not the size of the tire? You do not know much about tires. There are at least a dozen data points embossed on the sidewall of each tire. I have a feeling it would not be fruitful to explain the process. My best recommendation is to procure a local store that sells auto tires and that you listen to the specialist. These specialist do this every day. It is their job. They know. Asking online as to what pops into your life is not the only nor the recommended method. You have no idea who is answering you. Tires range from brand to specific purpose to warranty period, tread design, ride comfort, etc. This is reflective in the price. Please take the car and ask a local tire specialist. I also recommend you read the car manual cover to cover and back again. Consider that cars are identified by model year first. Instead of "8th gen" the data point is the year. 2014 Honda Civic SI coupe is correct. Congratulations on the purchase. However, I know this car is not new since you ask about tires. Go get the local help you require. This applies also to service and repairs, insurance and registration and any citations you will end up with. Good luck.

There are many good tire sets for your car.
To choose right ones you need to answer few questions: do you need summer tires or all-season, do you want a better performance or you want a longer life for your tires, what's your budget?
