What's the point in picking foolish fights and/or pretending to be so angry?

It's funny people don't think twice before doing something bad but think a million times before doing something good.

It is because people seek attention. And unfortunately, the best way to get immediate reactions that bring the attention they seek is by picking fights. If you want to get attention for doing something good, people have this idea that it has to be something large and amazing and headline-covering. SO instead, they seek out the thrill of getting attention by fighting with people. They find it fun to make others angry, and they genuinely feel like they are the better person because they were able to draw reaction out of large amounts of people, and then feel superior because those people took the time out of their life to react to something very simple (usually an opinion stated online that they know will receive a reaction from people). I can't fully grasp why, but these are the base reasons why people do this.
