How much is a William Shakespeare autograph worth?

I was at a Renaissance fair earlier this week and William Shakespeare was actually there. I asked him to sign a script of Hamlet that I bought earlier and he did!

So I'm just wondering how much that'd be worth. I was thinking about selling it at the fair but I figured someone would try to rip me off. This one guy even offered me 200 dollars but I turned it down. Luckily I'm outsmarting him by doing my research.

Anyway, any input on the value on the autograph?

Hmm, I've heard of more than a few George Washington's. I should get their autograph. If only I could meet Napoleon Bonaparte.

I once saw Benjamin Franklin in downtown Boston, which I thought was strange because he moved to Philadelphia. I said "Good Morning" to him aqnd he answered back. I never thought of asking for his autograph

It happened right around the corner from his birthplace so I know it was him

It's worth nothing unless the Bard signed in the 1600's since he died in 1616.

Well, when I was down the pub the other night, Vincent van Gogh was in there and he signed a beer mat for me - I've put it on e-bay and the bids have so far reached just over 50p.
