My friend stole my charger?

So my friend came over recently and I'm pretty sure she took my dad's work charger. She had used it to charge her phone and after it was missing. The charger had been sitting in the kitchen for years , no one had ever moved it. This was the first time she came over and we had been good friends for months. My dad asked me about it the next day , I looked for it and it was no where to be found. I felt embarrassed and terribly bad that she might have took it. It's been a couple days now and it's still missing. She had talk the me since. I'm scared to ask her but at the same time I need to ask her about it . There's a part of me that doesn't trust her anymore. What should I do? Thanks so much!
