I'm trying to edit my favorites list on IE but I can't. Why?

I have a PC with IE and Chrome, and my favorites list was exported to Chrome and to my ipad on Safari. I'd like to rearrange my bookmarks, deleting some and moving others, but my changes are immediately undone. What am I doing wrong?

Assuming you are using the latest version of IE there are a couple of ways... you can edit them as you are saving them and also organize/edit them by clicking the star (favorites icon) on your browser...your menu appears and at the top of the menus window there are 2 buttons -the 'add to

favorites' button and to the right of it is a much smaller button sporting this symbol ▼ -hit that and you have several more options.... i believe you can also edit by simply right-clicking on your favorites tab or anywhere on the favorites window... the link i included is from Microsoft's website and safe.

    Hope that helps..!!

I would use an add in called xmarks it will keep your bookmarks the same no matter where you go and is a great tool. It is totally safe and is from the same company that makes lastpass which is great to keep passwords. I have used both of these for many years with no problems.
