I had to move in with my sister's family, and shortly afterward, my sister decided not to talk to me. She has encouraged the rest of her family not to talk to me either, and I feel like a ghost. I feel as if they wouldn't notice if I disappeared. I would like to print out some articles about how cruel this is to do to someone and leave them around for my family to see.

I live with my sister's family. In the winter she loves to turn on the fireplace downstairs, unaware that doing this makes the heat turn off, leaving the upstairs very cold. I get home from work at 8pm, and have to blow hair into my hands all night to keep my fingers and nose warm. It's sometimes too cold to sleep. It's also extremely cold in my niece's room, and the other day I saw one of them crying because she couldn't get warm even under her blanket. But I can't just explain it to them because they think that I don't know anything. Can someone point me to a page or a video that will explain it to them?

A few years ago I would have said that my sister was my best friend. We talked almost every day on the phone, and it seemed like every weekend or so I was either going to her house for dinner and a DVD or going out with her to a museum, a concert, etc. But we both fell on hard times. I lost my source of income, and she had to take a job that required her to travel and needed help with her 3 children. So I moved in with her. About a month later she stopped talking to me, and I've never known why. She won't say.

I even went to therapy over it, and my therapist says that it's some kind of power trip for her. My other sister says she was a mean girl in school, the kind who never had anything to say to a long list of people that she didn't like for whatever reason.

Has anyone had to cope with a family member who refused to talk to you? Did you ever find out why? How did you get the person to start talking to you again? Or did you have to just write that person out of your life?

I had knee replacements last December and in March, and since about May, everything has been great. But now my kneecaps hurt. Why?

I have a GE Profile Arctica refrigerator with the freezer on top. Water is leaking into my refrigerator and pooling on the shelves--not in the bottom, but even on the upper shelves. It then freezes and I have to chip my milk cartons out to use them. Anyone know what the problem is?

I bought one of those things that go into what used to be the cigarette lighter of my car and into which you can plug a USB cable. I tried using it to charge my ipad, and I keep hearing a beep, something that doesn't happen when I charge it at home. What does that mean?

I have a PC with IE and Chrome, and my favorites list was exported to Chrome and to my ipad on Safari. I'd like to rearrange my bookmarks, deleting some and moving others, but my changes are immediately undone. What am I doing wrong?

I'm recovering from knee replacement surgery, and I think I'm ready to drive. However, I still want to take Percocet before bed. If I only do that, and the rest of the time I use a non-narcotic pain reliever, do you think my doctor will say it's okay for me to drive? Or do I have to be completely off narcotics?

I take the Percocet before bed because I tend to bend my knee in my sleep when I roll over or adjust the covers or something, and I'm usually pretty sore when I get up in the morning without taking it. If I take Percocet at 10pm and don't get behind the wheel until after 7am, will that be okay?

A family member used to love Bertolli pasta sauce, but he says they've changed the recipe. He doesn't enjoy it anymore. Does anyone know how the recipe has changed and where I can find a recipe to replicate the old recipe?

I'm watching old episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Willow threatens to beat Riley to death with a shovel if he hurts Buffy. He looks alarmed, and then I was always sure that Willow says, "A vague disclaimer so nobody's threatened." But the caption on the episode says, "A vague disclaimer is nobody's friend." Which is it?

I use Outlook to manage several email addresses, including a couple that were given me by my work. I have addresses through AOL, Gmail, MSN and my own website through Dreamhost. In the last couple of days, I've been getting repeated messages that my IMAP server is 93% full. I've deleted old emails on every address, but nothing seems to help. Any ideas what might be wrong?

According to the news, the new CEO of Yahoo! told all workers who are telecommuting that they have to start working from the office of quit. This includes a lot of people who were assured they could work from home, including parents who need to look after their children. Does this make you reconsider being on this site?

I'm watching old Buffy episodes on Netflix, and this has been bugging me. How can The First end the slayer line by having the Bringers kill all the slayers when they aren't even related to each other? And did I miss something about why Buffy or any other slayer is chosen?

I'm watching all the old Buffy the Vampire Slayer episodes, and in "What's My Line" she talks about spending the weekend watching movies, and she says "maybe something from the Ringworld oeuvre." What was she referring to?
