I think this is the device you are talking about. It has HDMI in and HDMI out - but it can strip off the audio to optical (5.1), coaxial digital (5.1) and a headphone jack (2.0). It will allow you to use an old stereo headphone or stereo sound system (or even a new wireless headphone).
I have one of these - but I have not had a chance to play with it.

I am not sure of the question. HDMI carries both the audio an video signal. I do not think there is a splitter that breaks the two apart for different inputs.
If your output device has HDMI and your TV has an HDMI in, then you will get both audio and video from the output device to your TV.

"RV audio" makes no sense. Tell us exactly what you have, & what you want to accomplish. Otherwise we have to guess what you're asking.
