Firefox really Foxed?

I accidentally shut down my computer ( Windows XP, thank you vey much ) while Firefox was re-seting itself. It now wont open at all; even removing it from my computer and downloading it again....three times so far.... all I get is the error message " Your Firefox profile can not be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible."

I miss my Firefox. Any suggestions?

    leave F/fox off and try Waterfox [ 64 bit compters only] It is Identical to Firefox, all f/fox addons work on it. It's faster than f/fox. Runs smoother and doesn't crash like f/fox and will get a new profile.

    Thanks guys but a) I have only a thirty two bit system, and b) couldn't get firefox .exe-P to be found by windows......but the problem cleared itself up with a fourth remove and reinstall. Guess it was jumbies.
