Have anyone seen presence when awake suddenly during the night?

Have you had the experience of seeing some kind of presence spirits when you wake up at night.

Usually happens when I am dreaming. Is this how dreams are brought?

  • What you are experiencing is a phenomena called sleep paralysis. When you sleep your level of sleep varies, your awake state goes up and down kind of like a wave pattern. When you are in the deepest part of your sleep (also called REM sleep) you dream a lot more vividly and everything feels more alive. If you would to wake up during this state your brain can sometimes get stuck in between the two stages of sleep and being awake.

This results in hearing, seeing and feeling things which are not there. You are basically dreaming in a wake state, this results in some very interesting experiences but often only lasts for a couple of seconds. It's because of sleep paralysis that such things as succubuses and other mythical creatures stories have originated.

Also dreams are not something which is impregnated in your head during night. Dreams are simply what you see when the brain processes the days events and it often gets mixed up and therefore dreams are usually strange.

    Best regards :)

My nans house is haunted and I've had the same experience on plenty of occasions, luckily they are friendly ghosts but all you need to do is go back to sleep
