Dreamt my dad died?

To dream of the death of one of your parents is indeed frightful.  They are like little gods that will live forever, or at least until we don't have to rely on them.  And there before you is your mother being physical, (violent) with your father, and that would frighten anyone.  Trying to find something personal from your father, to hold onto is natural, and only means you want the relationshi[p to continue.   We hope to magically keep our loved one alive. Considering the family dynamics it is not unusual for you to have this kind of dream.  But you should be aware of why you are dreaming of your father's death.  He is like your anchor, and you don't want to lose him, so you hold onto somethning which belonged to him, or something he gave you to keep your connection with him.  

No, it has nothing to do with death. Just sorrow about the actual event. 

I feel in my spirit that this dream is a warning that something could happen to your dad for real. The piece where you said he "left" after visiting and "it hurt" is a clue, that was followed by the portion of the hospital.

You know, sometimes bad things happen in life and people are truly heart broken. A broken heart kills people. That is why often a couple that lived together for many years die only a short time apart.

I have the feeling that your dad is hear broken somehow.

The best medicine for that, according to the Bible, is love.

Talk to him and tell him that you love him. Give him a hug.

Something like that can move mountains and bring healing.

Tell your mom that you love her too, so that she does not take that personally.

Proverbs 10:12

Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.

1 Peter 4:8

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

And please, make sure you have love in your heart. Jesus Christ is love, and unless he lives in your heart you will fall into darkness, literally.

Repent of your sins every day, ask him to come into your heart and talk to you. He is real. Then also pray for your dad. I have seen Jesus do many miracles in my journey. Your dad may need one and often only Jesus can make that happen.
