Is it creepy that my neighbor always tries to look through my window?
I live in an apartment building. My living room window is right next to the main entrance door of the building. Since my computer and work desk is right by the window, I can see who walks in and out of the building.
Most of my neighbors who walk towards the main entrance don't look through my window, which is normal. But a new tenant moved in not too long ago… he's an older guy who looks to be in his 50's and he's single living by himself. The thing that bothers me about this guy is that every time he's walking towards the main entrance, he always tries to look through my window like he's trying to see what's going on inside. He doesn't do it once in a while… it's every time he walks to the main entrance. Since I'm inside my apartment it's harder for him to see into my window than it is for me to see outside. And I see him ALWAYS trying to peer through my window, even when my blinds are halfway tilted! It's kind of creeping me out and sometimes I want to confront him and ask him "what the f'ck do you keep looking through my window for??" Also I'm not some hot young chick, I'm a grown man in my 30's. So I'm wondering why the hell this guy is always trying to look through my window?
Am I flipping out or am I justified in thinking this guy's a creep?

I would definitely go right up to my window, open it and say to the creep "WTF are you doing looking in my home?!"....Your privacy is being violated inside your own home and it needs to be confronted to make the behavior stop.
I too live on a first floor with foot traffic outside and thinking of buying privacy film to place on the windows. They easily stick on and easily peel off and you can still see outside while the other side is a total mirror reflection...so old creepy guy will just see his own perverted reflection every time he walks by. Good luck!

He's creepy alright. You can take several approaches here. The next time you see him peeking in your window, go outside and ask him why he looked inside your window. It's possible he is casing out your place because he wants to steal from you.
You might also like to report his strange behavior to the apartment landlord. They can speak to him directly and tell him to knock it off.
There are other things you can do....wear a mask and jump out at him, etc. but I don't know if this guy is psycho or can take a joke.

Yes he's creepy, but just ignore him bc u never know what he's capable of when or after confronting him. One thing may lead to another. So avoid communication and no eye contact.

it's creepy, he's a creeper, and although probably not dangerous, you never know.
because you're a man, you can confront him. but he'll have an excuse, like want to see how you use the apartment, cause he needs ideas for his etc......
creepy dude is creepy

If you have the nerve to, stare at him while he's staring in. Make sure he knows that you know and he should stop, a normal human being would feel embarrassed. Good luck.

You can hide and wait until he peers in then jump out of him yelling HI THERE WHAT DO YOU WANT? Or you can call 911 and report an intruder.
