Why would an 18-year-old girl get five permanent tattoos on her body?

Because tattoos are so sexy on girls. It's art. I can't believe how against people are of tattoos, they express who we are and everyone knows that. From clothing to hairstyles, piercings, jewellery, and personality are expressions of ourselves. We get one shot at our life and still people judge their decisions

Leah Michelle (who plays Rachel on Glee) has 14 tattoos. It's not for a certain type of person and some tattoos are very meaningful e.g. a tribute to a dead relative - and other tattoos aren't, those ones art art pieces and are (normally) atheistically pleasing to the person with that tattoo.

Some people at that age will regret those tattoos but other people won't, even when they look at their body in forty years time.

Because she wants them tattoos, she's old enough to get them tattoos and tattoos are an extremely lovely way to express an individuals self. Also, it's fantastic art work.

Tattoos are fascinating and look gorgeous on anyone and every one.. the 18 year old WOMAN got tattoos because she likes them..
