need help with crossfire motherboard?
Im looking to upgrade my ageing asus m4a98td pro usb motherboard.
Is the https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A99X_EVO_R20/ any good for gaming.
Currently using a
Amd phenom 955be oc @3.8ghz
8gb ddr3 ram
Zalman 10xpro cpu cooler.
2x hd7850 2gb in crossfire currently in x16 x4.
Will the selected motherboard be any good for imrpoving graphics. I am upgrading the cpu to a fx8350 so the motherboard needs to be am3+ compatible. The i5/i7k editions are out of my price range.

No difference in video, at least not that much. New mobo is dual at x8 speeds (maybe dual at x16 and x8?)
If you are going to change mobo, look for one that has PCI-E V3.0. Not that you need it now, but for future video upgrades.
Otherwise, upgrade as you wish...
Your gaming performance is most likely affected by the 7850s than anything else...
