NG is a part time [39 days a YEAR] and with it comes part time benefits, frankly if you are really interested then I would say go active duty.

I would never even consider NG to be honest.

pay is around $200 a month, before tax's

    basiclly there are no benefits

educational aid is approx $7,500 per year

although some states ( about half ) offer thier own educational aid - free or discounted tuition.

    2. you want regular pay, benefits and school paid for - you have to go active duty
