how can I prepare for junior year?

I'm going into my junior year of high school. I am aware that it's an important year and am working extremely hard to do well. Next year, I'm taking:

AP Human Geo (elective)

AP Chem (Possibly AP psych if my school brings it)

AP US history

AP English and composition

Advanced Math (Pre-cal/Calculus)

Spanish 3

How can I prepare for these classes? I'm already doing the summer homework.

Also, I really want to change up my look. I've been working on losing weight, because I am a little overweight (not just saying that, for my height and age,I'm overweight). I'm not trying to lose an extreme amount of weight, so what are some simple exercises I can do at home? Also, if I can get some tips to change up my style of makeup, that'd be helpful. I have large doe shaped eyes, and short curly eyelashes, any tips to really enhance my eyes would be awesome. (Feel free to add any extra info you think would be helpful)

Colleges look for a well-rounded student; that is, students who maintain a high GPA with a fairly rigorous course load along with being involved in extracurricular activities such as clubs or a sport. With 4-5 AP classes, you will not have the time to dedicate to things beyond academics unless you have very good time management skills. Therefore, I'd suggest dropping at least 1 AP course. Colleges don't really care for AP Human Geography being that it is one of the easiest AP classes so I'd recommend dropping this course. Not to mention, you'd have two social studies (AP Human Geo and AP U.S. History) if you were to take AP Human which can be *very* stressful since junior year is the year you take college entrance exams (SAT/ACT).

Again, drop at least 1 AP and join a couple of clubs instead. Colleges look for someone who's involved in both their academics and school activities; not study robots.

Also, keep in mind that commitment in a foreign language is something colleges love to see. With this in mind, I'd recommend taking Spanish 4 or AP Spanish your senior year of high school.

Long eyelashes are generally seen as attractive so I'd recommend letting yours grow. People with high metabolisms tend to lose weight faster. Foods with fiber such as beans, spinach, nuts, granola bars, and oatmeal have fiber which increase metabolism. I highly suggest consuming these foods to increase your metabolism so that losing weight is easier for you. Also, make sure you are getting 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Not only does sleep have amazing healing properties for both the body and mind, but if you get a good amount, it can increase your metabolism as well. Last but not least, drink at least 6 glasses of cold water per day!

  • you can go to barnes and noble and buy test prep books for those classes. the exams will come sooner than you think. also you can go and youtube and look at makeup tutorials, those really helped me. also sign up for the SAT and ACT to take this fall and spring and maybe even the summer. DON'T WAIT! get high scores early will save you so much stress.
