I'm cat fishing someone and I don't know how to stop?

So I went on this app where you can make anonymous confessions. This guy ends up messaging me , and me being paranoid I have him a different name and age from what I actually am. After talking he turns out to be an amazing guy, and I think he really likes me for me. I sent him. Pix of me, and he said that I was beautiful! I really like hkm, but I feel like if I tell him my true age (17) he won't be interested (he said he was 23). I have always been attracted to older guys. I feel so so bad and just like a legit a s s h o l e. How do I go about coming clean and hopefully maintain this relationship?? My age and name are the only thing I lied about to protect myself in the case tht he was a creep, but he's an absolute gentleman
