Sorry this might be long, but my anxiety over the situation is killing me!

I met the most incredible 26 year old guy at work about 7 months ago. I felt like there was this instant connection that hit me like a train. While there is a 6 year age gap, me being 20, that didn't stop us from becoming close. Everyone we work with noticed it right away, and I couldn't help but develop the strongest of feelings for him that I have ever experienced in my life. Over the past few months, my love and admiration for him has grown. I have the biggest soft spot for him, and he never fails to make me laugh. Our families are very similar, and our goals for our lives beautifully align. We're able to confide in each other, rely on each other, and calm each other down when things get rough. His presence makes my day, and I just have this odd feeling about him. I feel like he's just supposed to be in my life somehow, and I literally pray that we end up together. He's everything I have ever wanted in a man, and I would be so incredibly proud to introduce him to my family.

I'm a sophomore in college and 20 years old. I'm an athletic girl that never minded getting dirty or being rough, considering I have two brothers (23 and 13). I've always had trouble in the love department! Every 'sign' that I've ever gotten has gone right over my head. It was so bad that when I had my first kiss last year at school I laughed in his face and high fived him. I seriously don't understand why I'm still single or not even remotely taken. The longer I go with male interaction, the more I feel nervous and unprepared. Help!

So I have this best friend, and we've been recently reunited since returning from college. She's definitely changed in regards to going out, partying, drinking, etc., as compared to our years in high school. She's a lot more relaxed like myself and up for some fun, and it is really fun to be able to do these things together. So today I sent her a pic of how to make adult juice pouches (lemonade and vodka).

Most of the time she's really bad at responding in a timely manner unless there's a thorough conversation going on, but she replied to this pic within minutes. All she said was "stop". I can't tell if it's like please my families around, stop. Or is it like ahhh this is great, stop.

As Iv'e grown through my teenage and young adult life I have dated a couple of guys. I was hanging out with one of my best friend of 10 years and her and I got on the topic of our relationships. While I easily noticed over the years that she has a type, I haven't really thought about myself. She expressed that maybe I shut people out if they don't appear to be my type, and now I am afraid that I do that.Her and I sat together and compared pictures and personalities of the guys I have ever had a relationship with or have been wanting to. I realized that all of them, with the exception of two guys, have similar facial features and attitudes. The scary thing is that most of these guys look and act like my father (who I absolutely adore).

Why do I tend to pick guys that look like my father? How can I be more open to other possibilities?

I'm in a very strange predicament. I'm going to large state university this coming fall, and I don't have to pay for my tuition. Both of my parents have worked at this university for most of their adult lives, and part of their benefits includes a HUGE break on tuition if their kids chose to go there. I feel very fortunate to now have to worry about that aspect. What I continue to wrack my brain about is the fact that I need $11,000 to live on campus! I was approved for a $5,500 loan, but that would only cover half of my expenses for the year. I feel like the only way I can make this all happen is to either take an additional private loan, or sell my car. The absolute lowest I would take is $8000. That would give me the ability to pay off my loan with ease, and give me a little more to pay for housing. I still would need to come up with $3,000 some how. What do you think? My college is an hour away from home, and I just love my car. Ugh, what to do, what to do..

So I'll be heading to college in the fall, and I'm very nervous about hooking up with guys. Even though I was very social in high school, I have never hooked up with a guy. I mean like a full blown virgin, down to just kissing. So I was wondering, are guys more or less willing to hook up with virgins in college, or would they rather have a more experienced girl and why?

I'll be going to Rutgers University this fall, and I am so ridiculously nervous! I never dated through high school, and I have yet to kiss a guy. In high school, I was really active in regards to clubs and sports. I was captain of my softball and volleyball team junior and senior year. I ran a couple clubs, and did make a lot of friends. I just was never good with flirting with guys. Guys and I were just strictly friends... Even though I went to parties, I never drank or did drugs. I feel so ill prepared for the social aspect of college. Any advice for this terrified and embarrassed freshman?

My 21 year old brother and I have been on the rocks for a year now. Me being an 18 year old girl, he and I just don't get along. Well to make a long story short, he ended up getting on top of me, with with me yelling for him to get off. Instinctively I started to try and punch him in the balls while he was still bear hugging me on the floor. I yelled out "stop, this only makes it ok for others to do this". He freaked out, started screaming, called me a *itch,. He said it was the most hurtful thing I've ever said, and he actually started crying. He stormed out and drove off crying, is what I said wrong? I honesty think that if he had listened to my first command, everything would have been fine.

I have a cousin who is three years younger than I, and we are both girls. I'm 18 and she is 15. We go to the same highschool, and I can't stand her. She is exactly why people hate freshman, because they are just like her! She is so rude to me an disrespectful it's ridiculous! We were once talking on Christmas with our family's about my job. So I went on this app where you can make anonymous confessions. This guy ends up messaging me , and me being paranoid I have him a different name and age from what I actually am. After talking he turns out to be an amazing guy, and I think he really likes me for me. I sent him. Pix of me, and he said that I was beautiful! So I have my junior prom coming up, and I can't decide if I want to go or not. I have still yet to be asked, and I have still yet to get a dress. The thing is though, I'm really uncomfortable going alone or without a date. I'm at the point where I'm finding new friends, but most of my friends either have dates or aren't going. Ughh it's just annoying because I keep looking at dresses, but I want someone to ask me to go! It's also frustrating to hear that guys aren't going, even when I've asked them.

My 20 year old brother continues to think that he's better than me. He knows better, looks better, and in his words"knows what's up". He has had 2 arrests, has been beaten to a pulp over drugs, lost his job, and still hasn't shown any effort to get another. He's a full time student at a state school, but commutes to class. I'm sick and tired of having to hear him complain about his situations but when I throw advice at him, he says I'm a condescending ***** that doesn't know what's up until I get to college. I'm 17, I feel like I do know what's up. Over the years, I have oddly learned from his mistakes and don't get into trouble. I view him as a baby that can't get his **** together and is stubborn. He just can't see how his friends bring him down. He gets mad that I can't be empathetic. I can't rationalize his actions, and I refuse to be empathetic.

He feels the need always say I'm wrong, or call me out when I patronize my younger brother. He's always moody and mad. As soon as I bring up his past, he explodes. I hope it's just a phase. But in the meantime, how can I cope with his childish behavior? I can't take him being an ahole anymore. He feels like everyone else is the ahole, not him.

So, I was told to write a letter touting the aspects and merits of metaphysical poetry. Using two pieces of poetry ( Meditation 17, and Gulliver's Travels) mention 3 examples, and discuss how they move the reader and express the poets purpose.

I literally have no idea what that means, and I just got back into school after having knee reconstruction. If anyone could help that would be great!
