Writing a resignation letter for someone who never gave you hours?
I ''work'' for a tutoring agency, and the man was prejudiced against people that don't have their own cars but he still hired me anyway. I have been tutoring for 6 years and this has never been an issue, I have never been late or had a problem getting to my students.
Anyway, I want to resign. I want to find another job without having to think about ''what if he calls me and wants me to work while I'm at my other job?'' and I just don't want to work for someone who has such poor follow up skills anyway.
My question is: How do I write a resignation letter for this man? It's not like I can thank him for the valuable experience he gave me, because I never got to work.
Thanks!

This is a little confusing. If you have never worked for the agency, simply inform them you wish to be taken out of rotation for future tutoring jobs.
A letter of resignation is not a personal reflection. Keep it simple. Try something like this:
Dear Mr. X,
Thank you for hiring me (or considering me for tutoring positions) at ABC. At this time I am pursuing other opportunities and will end my employment (agreement/arrangement) with ABC effective (2 weeks from now, or immediately).
Best of luck in your business endeavors,
