What hobbies can I take up to be more interesting?
I went on a date today, and it was very obvious that while the other person was very active and productive, I'm pretty passive. For example, she travels, I don't. She has a scuba license, I am learning computer coding. She plays water polo, I play the piano.
She's going to be away for a while. What can I do while she's going to become more socially interesting and impressive?

Just be yourself and you will find someone that finds you extremely interesting because of your hobbies. Don't make drastic changes to try and impress someone else. The façade won't last and you'll end up being unhappy with how fake you've become. Have fun and puzzle on.

Be yourself. That sounds cheesy, but if she doesn't enjoy the life that she'd be stepping in (with you) then it isn't worth being with her.
Unless you find her stated hobbies interesting to yourself, then don't bother too much. If you do, it can be good to add to yourself. You can always try something new.
See if you like the things she likes to do.

I agree with Xenon but it's always good to reach out and discover things in the world you may not be aware of in whichever bubble you happen to live in.
I'd also agree that you might perhaps be interested in some of the things she's interested in once you're exposed to them.
You should however figure out what *you* might be interested in then follow up some of those. There are some tips for figuring that out in some of my previous questions, and also many ideas about specific hobbies/activities in others:

You might also consider though that she just sounds like a high-physical-action person, and will always be one of those. She might not be into non-physical interests too, so might not be a good fit for your natural interests.
