will this CPU upgrade work?
I have decided to upgrade my cpu and motherboard I already run 2x HD7850 2GB in crossfire but I get a lot of stuttering and screen tearing. and need to check this will definitely work or if anyone can suggest a better part as believe the tears could be down to my CPU

it is worth the upgrade, the cpu is really good and not really that dependable for gaming as much as geeks like to tell you. This I7 you want to get processor is a monster and those cards shouldn't bottleneck. Also if the cards are studdering did you do a diagnostic to see if they are not bad? And yes it is most likely that your two powerful graphics card was bottlenecking the weak processor you had because this intel one is like 10 times better.
