What underwear would they wear in Westeros?

The costume design in the TV adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire is phenomenal, with outfits inspired by many different periods of history and world cultures. I haven't managed to get through all the books yet, and I don't remember this being described in what I've read so far, so I was curious:

What would the ladies of Westeros be likely to wear under their dresses?

If you've seen something in the show and can remember the episode or the vague scene, please let me know! Otherwise, you might have been looking at the costumes and thinking, "Well, there seems to be a lot from blah era, and the underwear worn at that time was blah." Or just take a rough guess!

Well, after trying weirder and weirder ways of googling the question, I finally found out that in A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones, underwear is known as 'smallclothes', a lesser-used word from olden times which in our world only referred to men's underclothes.

Googling 'Westeros smallclothes' finally brought me to this page. So anyone who wants to make a really authentic Game of Thrones cosplay/costume should check it out!
