Clutch out AGAIN?
My clutch was replaced when the odo hit 155,000 miles. I had been driving it for 12k miles. Now, at about 157,000 miles, it doesnt want to shift into gear. Reverse is grinding. The pedal has been very slowly been getting softer since 1500 miles ago. How did this happen so quick? I changed the master and slave cylinder, throwout bearing, clutch disc, hydraulic lines. Is it just air? Can it be bled, or will the problem reoccur shortly after? This is stressful because I"m only 18, not in college, and already spent $600 when the clutch went out 6 months ago.

Couple possibilities: The pressure plate bolts may not be completely tightened.Torque specs exist for a reason. You say you replaced both master and slave cylinders, but did you bench bleed them both first? There is usually a bleeder valve in the slave cylinder that should allow you to bleed the air from the system.

Me and a friend both learned to drive on that clutch. Then I drove it for 12,000 miles. 150k miles on a clutch is pretty good. Then after all that usage it had to be replaced. It's only been 2000 short miles and something is up again.

look to see if youre leaking fluid from around the slave cylinder or any of the wheel cylinders. make sure youre reservoir is full and bleed the clutch

Either you cant drive, or you used crappy parts, or you failed to replace the flywheel & pressure plate as well. All of it needs to be replaced together
