What is the largest Protestant Denomination?

It depends on whether you are asking for world statistics or just the USA.

Some world statistics from the the Wikipedia include:

Assemblies of God - 65 million

Church of England - 25.0 million

Evangelical Church in Germany - 24.5 million

Seventh-day Adventist Church - 17 million

Southern Baptist Convention - 15.7 million

United Methodist Church - 12 million

If I were to guess, I'd say Southern Baptist, and then it's Methodist, and Presbyterian is going down the toilet, and will eventually branch out into other groups..I think.

Of course, I'm referring to the USA. In Europe it may be the Church of Christ...maybe.

Baptists with about 100 million. Lutherans and Methodists have about 75 million.
