Should I switch to apple?
I have been using windows for about the past 15 years and I used to love it. Windows XP was my favorite, and I liked Windows 7. But this new Windows 8 is the worst creation ever. I have had it with windows 8 and the way Microsoft is going with all these useless apps and mystery updates. I am getting a new laptop soon and am seriously considering getting a MacBook pro. I will be doing a lot of internet browsing, essays on Microsoft word and some powerpoint projects, a lot of editing photos and videos, and drawing on photoshop. I will also be doing a tiny bit of games like maybe minecraft. Would an apple laptop suit these needs or should I stick with frustrating windows 8? By the way I'm unfamiliar with macs because I've been using windows my whole life. Thanks for any advice!

Go for it :) Might I warn you that Apple products are pretty expensive so if you're able to afford one then great! They are great quality and lasts long.

Don't get a Mac if you are a gamer. You can play only like 15% games. If you have a windows 8 pc you can play all games.
Also Windows 8 are the fastest and the best feature is that you can factory reset without CD or something.
Go for Windows 8. Windows 8 computers/laptops are really faster than MAC.
If you are not a gamer and you like facebook or browsing then buy a mac.
I prefer you to buy a Windows 8 pc. You can upgrade it to 8.1.
