What is the difference between making love and just having sex?

Is there a certain way to do each of the types above?

Making love is when you love someone and you're having sex with them. You usually focus more on loving them than pleasuring yourself. Your partners needs and desires come first. Sex is more about you and making yourself feel good and less about your partner. You can still be in love and have "sex'.

Sex is with anyone anytime doesn't matter it could have been your hand.

Making love is with two people who have committed themselves to a relationship there is time involved.

Making love is when there is a deep emotional attachment to the person you are with. And they are the only person you do it with. Having sex is just doing it with whoever just to get off and move on.

  • Making love is having sex when you love the person you're having sex with, and just having sex is having sex when you don't.

Making love is when two people who love each other have sex.

Having sex does not require love, you can have sex with any random person.

I'd say the making love means that the two people truly love each other and aren't just doing it for the fun and thrill.

In our present world, they are pretty much synonymous, and most men do not have actual, unselfish love, I'm sorry to say.
