How do I make a video recording on a MacBookPro that can be uploaded to One Drive? How can I attach a PP to this video? (online COMS course)?

Update:

I am taking an online communications course and the syllabus says that I need a digital video recorder. Does the MacBook have something I can use? I also need to attach a powerpoint presentation that plays either during or at the end of the presentation. Someone Please Help!!!

You did not tell us what version OSX or QuickTime loaded on you MacBook Pro... In the "Applications" folder there is QuickTime Player. Normally it is used only as a media player, but if you launch that, under "File" you will see "New screen recording"... Select that, a screen will appear prompting you to select the part of the monitor you want recorded - or just click to record the whole screen. When you are done, select QuickTime from the dock and Quit. You will be prompted to save the file - so name it and save it wherever you want. This file can be pulled into iMovie for editing.

As for the PowerPoint presentation... there are several ways to do that - including saving the chart deck as a PDF or each slide as a pdf and bringing that into iMovie...
