You could say that in some ways but its the players who make the decision, at the same time, African teams has problems, its like they are playing for money and not for their country/continent. Not all but there were so many problems with teams like Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon, they threaten not to play if they don't get paid.

There was a video where a Ghanian player kissed his money when they got paid. Lol

What are you thinking? A pro player goes to where the highest money and best market that they can play in. It is all about playing at the highest level and winning silverware. It is not about a ego-political system.

Any player has the choice of which country he wishes to be considered for if he can prove he has a connection to that country. However, just because you like Guinness doesn't entitle you to play for Ireland.
