Are Women That Have Abortions At Risk Of Harming Other Children?

It has been said before that a person can get used to anything. From poor living conditions to doing horrible jobs like working in the morgue or slaughterhouse. Violent video games are said to desensitize people to death and violence. Once a person becomes okay with the taking of a human life one or more times the value of human life goes down in their mind.

Do women who have abortions undergo the same effect? After they have taken a life/lives are they at risk of harming other children? Or are they exempt from desensitization and devaluation of human life?

What do you think?

No, but there have been women who gave birth and either have killed them or they have had serious mental problems which makes them want to kill their newborn. It's called: Post-Partum Depression.

This condition has nothing to do with not having had an abortion. It simply means a woman can become dangerous to children because she went thru having a baby.

Of course not. That's utterly ludicrous. For one thing, when you have an abortion, you are not directly killing a viable, living and breathing child, as you would be if -- like a unfortunate number of poor women and their partners who didn't want children in the first place -- you picked up an infant or toddler and strangled or beat it to death.

You're trying to be deliberately insulting and provocative, sweetie, but your analogy doesn't work. The next time you post a question on abortion, have it vetted by an intelligent bioethicist, because you are a little inadequate in the intellect department.
