Now a days when most of us dont believe in religion , what motivates you to be a good human being ?

Basically the religion has nothing to do with goodness of human being good people r there in all religion and so is the case of bad people too pkeode@yahoo.in

I don't practice religion at all and I have been told by many people that I am one of the nicest people they ever met. I have never broke the law, i never assaulted anybody, also i try not to lie as best I can. For me it's not how my parents raised me or how other people acted around me. I believe a good person is just born that way. A bad person can not become good and a good person can't become bad. Religion does not make you a good person. Religion is hope for most people hope that there is something greater then what we see. Although religions have rules or codes to live by that vary between them. I believe religion was created to maintain order and give people a reason to fight to work and to live. Now it's it's used as a lat resort for people that have nothing to live for or have run in to bad times. There are people who are just firm believers as well but the majority rules.

This world has a balance of good and bad. No matter religious or not, your behavior isn't reflected because it is just the way you were raised. I prefer to be good only because I want to become a good influence on younger relatives and I understand the meaning of respect.
