Do I have to repeat a scuba diving course if I haven't done it in a few months?

I completed my confined water dives but not open, do I need to repeat the course, because its been 6 months since I last did it

Update:

If you have a card to show you can go diving.

If you do not have a card to show no one will rent you geasr, fill your tanks or let you dive off their boat.

As far as time interval, there is no statute of limitations but a skilld refresher class (about an hour or two) might be a good idea.

So, you did the classroom, the exams, and the pool, but you never went out into a lake or ocean?

Do you have in your possession your Open Water certification?

    If yes, go dive.

If no, that is something no one here can answer. You need to ask the place that you need to do the for.
