i have a brain disorder?

Okay so the docters say i have a brain disorder. everyone has negitive and positive cells in there brain. which changes there mood. They say that some (alot) of my positive cells turned into negitives. which caused suvure depression. so im basically just sad but i think i can be happy at times like when im with my friends no matter whats going on i can fake a smile. but then out of nowhere when im alone i just cry. they say its somthing to do with my brain and i asked if i was bipolor and they said no.

ive been to alot of mental hospitals because of this. ive even been to residental care. whats wrong with me?

Update:

also, i have tried over 8 medicans , all work for a period time, then go away.

Leave it to the professionals and let them do their thing but if you don't want to be depressed then just hang out with your bf. if you love him he can make you feel a whole lot better

That is bullshit. You do not have positive and negative cells in your brain...... the cells are basically the same but there are chemicals in your brain (like seratonin, epinephrin, gaba, dopamine) and it is the actions of these chemicals that cause moods to change. What you describe is not Bipolar, it is depression. You have to have depression AND mania for it to be Bipolar. No mania, no Bipolar, no exceptions.

This is best left up to the professionals. However, if you ever just want to talk, I'm available.
