why do people stereotype me because I'm pretty?
People always think I have/had alot of boyfriends or that I party alot or that I'm spoiled/rich but none of that is true. When people come up to me and are like"omg you're so pretty" it's just really awkward and makes me not want to talk to them. Anyone else has this problem?

there are several reasons why people stereotype others; it can be very frustrating because you'd rather be treated as the individual that you are
two things to keep in mind:
first, remember to always treat others as individuals
second, be grateful that others are stereotyping you for a trait that is positive (being noticeably attractive), because a lot of people are treated differently for negative reasons
