I think my crush likes someone else?
Im sorry if this seems really pointless and stupid but I just need advice/someone to talk to. Basically I saw online on my crush's IG that he and a girl looked like they were flirting and they ended up exchanging numbers in the end. I now the Internet is not a good place to judge relationships/love b/c for all I know they could just be friends (he met her in another state during some summer camp). Anyways I'm just kinda upset. I'm not the most confident person out there and we've barely spoken at school (I'm definitely going to talk to him this year though). Also we had a lot in common so I thought I had a chance. I know I'm still young and he'll probably not end up marrying her or anything but I'm just bummed out. Any advice on how to move on in case they do end up dating? Stories similar to my situation? Thx :/

Tbh been there done that, and you can't so anything but actually get to know him. If you don't take em while their single they get taken! Get to know him next year and people casually date all the time it might not even be a big deal, but if he does end up dating that girl maybe just be friends with him or/and move on. Things happen for a reason and if he's not the one at the moment that's fine! I wish I knew that a couple of years ago. And the confidence is a huge thing. I wasn't that confident 4 years ago when I really really LIKED this guy, and I was just like you but I got over him and started talking to other guys and made guy friends. I now have guys that wanna date me, and I'm no longer that not so confident gal. So confidence is key. I'd suggest doing things that make you feel proud of yourself and hanging out with good people helps with that, and accepting your looks for what they are and flaunting them. :)

Just move on as if you never knew him! remember what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger! it takes slutty guys to go for slutty girls, and you're not a slut so be proud!

You might have to ask him out. Think of it as like a competition or a race. If you saw that you need to immediately ask that person out which I know is hard but that is your only chance. If it doesn't work out, don't worry, you won't care in a few weeks. Just remember to stay strong and it's not the end of the world.
