How much would a big mac cost if corporate only took $4 billion instestead of $8.5 billion?

People are always speculating how much a big mac would cost if we raised minimum wage to $15, how much would the cost drop if the franchizes could cut their corporate operating fees in half?

    The labor costs of a big mac are about 7 cents. You could double the wages of every employee and it would raise the cost of each item about 7 cents.

    Most McDonald's restaurants are franchise operations. McDonald's corporation makes their money on franchise fees. That would not change. So the losers would be the local McDonald's owners. You would have to examine the books of each to find out who is making money and who is not.

    Maybe you should contact the gov and see if they can get health care costs, taxes and workers compensation lowered if you are concerned with over head costs.
