Wouldn't leave room to have the European Cup, which alternates every two years with the World Cup.

No. I am done sitting through 92 minutes (+ extra time) of watching a stupid white ball being kicked back in forth between two goals until someone finally makes something. I think the best game of soccer I have ever watched was Germany against Brazil and I am glad I watched it from the semifinals, onwards.
