Why do I get butterflies and my heart beats fast when reading or watching shoujo manga/anime?
It only happens if I like the two love interests and when cute moments happen or when they might kiss. I NEVER have felt this when reading/watching any other kind of manga/anime. What is this? It's like how I feel around someone I like-nervous, excited and I have butterflies and my heart pounds. Is this normal?

yes it is completely normal
Most people call them feels and i think most people get really giddy when they see their OTP having a moment.
So don't worry, lol
It happens to most people.
Most of the time i scream/ squeal bcuz unlike when im having butterflies around someone i like, I could do that with no one judging me.

I think it's how they draw the characters in that overly cute way. I always feel like I'm having a heart attack or something.
