Chrome on Ubuntu/Linux?
So I have a Samsung Series 3 Chromebook and I wanted a way to download things like Skype and such that are not supported by Chrome OS. So I got linux using this

but the only browser on there is netsurf, which is really, really, REALLY bad. So I thought, why not get chrome on there but it wont let me, I click download but nothing happens and it is really frustrating. Can someone please help? Thank you!

As that link warns you not all ubuntu apps will be compatible especially if it is not an intel cpu:
Your desktop won't come with very many programs installed. You'll find that even a lot of default Ubuntu tools are left out, so you'll have to install them yourself using apt-get. If you're on an ARM-based Chromebook, not all apps will be compatible. Intel users will be much better off.
Try to use the command apt-get in a terminal to install programs. Be sure to to do update first or you might get missing dependent files:
