Who is it that forgives us of our sins, Jesus or Jehovah God?

Update:

(Matthew 6:9-15) “YOU must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. 10 Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth. 11 Give us today our bread for this day; 12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13 And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the wicked one.’ 14 “For if YOU forgive men their trespasses, YOUR heavenly Father will also forgive YOU;

    Both. Why? Look at Mathew 28:18; "Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth." Then he went on to give the command to make disciples. 19 Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations,"

    So before Jesus was given that authority, only Jehovah could forgive sins.

    God teaches us to get rid of sins, that means there is no way to get forgiveness and get rid of the sin. It is a action and it would reverse back to you in the same situation and same adversity or same affect that it had inflicted the person you made the sin against. The life is a balance so it would retain that in whatever means possible. Now after knowing this we also need to know that, after completing the cycle of action with a reaction, which we always keep pondering whether its an action or reaction, we would rather pay attention that we don't react on either. That is, (what actually the rule in the holy bible meant for) forgive immediately any action against you (inwardly) and forget the revenge or recentment. Otherwise there is no end to this vicious cycle of act- revenge- revenge for revenge, and so on...the great example is Palestine and Isreal wars. TC

    When Jesus saw their faith, he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

    The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

    Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts? Which is easier: to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” Immediately he stood up in front of them, took what he had been lying on and went home praising God."

    Jehovah is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Our forgiveness is completed because by the will of the Father, the sacrifice of the Son it would be sent to us should we be enlightened by the Holy Spirit to accept it.
