Is there something wrong with my thyroid?
So I've been trying to lose weight for a while with no success. I went to a doctor that specializes and thyroid issues, and when she did blood work, it came back normal, meaning I have no thyroid issues. However, I think getting them re-checked is necessary, since I ate healthy and exercised for a month and still didn't lose any weight.
Does it sound like there is something truly wrong with my thyroid?

Yes. I had the same problem, it wouldn't show up in a blood test but when I went to get an ultrasound it was pretty clear i had issues and soon after i went to the specialist and she prescribed medication which i still take.

Forget your thyroid, it has been ruled out as the cause of your weight issues. Eat less and exercise more.

No! Dependent on which specific thyroid test(s) your doctor carried out, she would KNOW from the lab results she had returned to her.
