Just to add to what Squidward said ... if you see the ending "-ase" on the name of a biological molecule, it is (almost always) an enzyme. DNA polymerase, RNA polymerase, ATP synthase, RNA ligase, helicase, adenylyl cyclase, amylase, sucrase, enolase, aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase, etc. are all enzymes.
