What does the Bible foretell about our day?

It says we are living in the last days, and that the Great Tribulation will soon break out and then lastly Armageddon and the majority of mankind, with man made religions and false doctrines, like trinity and hellfire!

Trinity: It is certain that, in spite of the popularity of such concepts in the false religions surrounding them, the faithful Jewish people and prophets of the old testament never accepted a three-in-one god. It is true that the unfaithful among the Israelites often borrowed pagan gods, pagan customs, and pagan concepts (including Baal and Astare)

and added them to their God-given religion. But there is no record (scriptural or secular) of a trinity concept even among them.

Historians who study ancient religions know, these doctrines and myths like trinity are derivations of the original ancient Babylonian and Egyptian versions of various divinities with different names applied to them.

Babylonians worshipped a moon-god, a sun-god, and a goddess of fertility and war. And there were many other trinity of gods--this is and was disgusting to Jehovah. AND Jesus is not God, he is the son of God.

“ Jehovah is a powerful warrior. Jehovah is his name.” Exodus 15:3

"I am Jehovah. That is my name; I give my glory to no one else." (Isaiah 42:8)

Deuteronomy 6:4 reads: “Listen, O Israel: Jehovah our God is one Jehovah”—not three in one.

Matthew 24:36 "But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

Matthew 28:19 “Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit.” 1+1+1= 3

John 14:28 and 31 "You heard that I said to you, ‘I am going away and I am coming back to you.’ If you loved me, you would rejoice that I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I am... 31 But for the world to know that I love the Father, I am doing just as the Father has commanded me to do."

John 17:3 KJV 3 “ And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

John 17:11 NKJV “Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, in that they may be one as We are.”

1 Timothy 2:5 There is ONE GOD and ONE MEDIATOR between God and Men; The MAN Christ Jesus.…” Holy spirit is Jehovah’s active force that He uses to accomplish his will.

The reason the Bible does not clearly teach the Trinity doctrine is simple: It is not a Bible teaching. Had God been a Trinity, he would surely have made it clear so that Jesus and his disciples could have taught it to others. And that vital information would have been included in God’s inspired Word. It would not have been left to imperfect men to struggle with centuries later. (Watchtower 11/1/91 p.23)

Acts 7:55, 56 reports that Stephen was given a vision of heaven in which he saw “Jesus standing at God’s right hand.” But he made no mention of seeing the holy spirit. (See also Revelation 7:10; 22:1, 3.)

The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits: “The majority of N[ew] T[estament] texts reveal God’s spirit as something, not someone; this is especially seen in the parallelism between the spirit and the power of God.” (1967, Vol. XIII, p. 575)

Therefore, as you can see from the Bible, Jesus always put Jehovah God in first place. He always obeyed him and remained faithful until death. Perhaps this will help you:

Hellfire is not true, either: Hell: SHEOL AND HADES --What do they really mean? Let’s ask an authority--Webster's Dictionary says that the English word "hell" is equal to the Hebrew word Sheol and the Greek word Hades. Hell is the common grave of mankind--according to Jesus Christ. John 11:11 Jesus said Lazarus was “sleeping” and he was going there to awaken him--and upwards of 500 people saw him.

This is what is in store for those of mankind --a restored paradise as it was in the beginning:

"In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth..."

He created a perfect human couple, and Satan deceived them into believing they could be "like" Jehovah God. They sinned and God had warned them that if they did, "...they would surely die..." So all mankind had sin and death passed on to them.

But Jehovah's purpose could not be thwarted--and He purposed " a new heaven and a NEW EARTH in which righteousness is to dwell."

"David [whom the Bible refers to as being `a man agreeable to Jehovah's heart'] did not ascend to the heavens." No, but will be resurrected back to a paradise earth.

Scriptures that state a new earth will be created and all God’s followers will live there

    Psalm 37:11

But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Psalm 115:16. "As for the heavens, they belong to Jehovah, But the earth he has given to the sons of men."

    Matthew 5:5

Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

    Isaiah 65:17

or, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

    Isaiah 66:22

For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.

    2 Peter 3:13

Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein righteousness is to dwell.

    Revelation 21:1

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And what about the Pope's stand on homosexuality--"that he can't judge them for it...!"

Here is what God says: God condemns unnatural sex acts:

Marriage according to the Bible is between one man and one woman. As shown in Genesis. Adam & Eve were married by Jehovah God--it

    was not Adam and Steve!

Then in the Christian Greek scriptures it mentions the word "porneia" where our word pornography came from--also in the Bible book of 1 Corinthians it mentions homosexual conduct (condemning it and then) saying " that is what some of you WERE, but you have been washed CLEAN..." after accepting God's counsel and repented and turned around!

1 Corinthians 5:11-13 “ But now I am writing you to stop keeping company with anyone called a brother who is sexually immoral or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man. For what do I have to do with judging those outside? Do you not judge those inside, while God judges those outside? “Remove the wicked person from among yourselves." What could be the wisdom behind this counsel? To repent and turn around. Remember Sodom & Gomorra? That is also a reminder of how God's wrath can be to unrepentant sinners!

And the worship of the cross? Worship of the cross:

Acts 5:30” The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a tree.”

    -KJV

Interesting to note: it speaks of God as separate from Jesus and that Jesus was hung on a tree. The same meaning is again taught at Gal 3:13.

The Bible describes events and conditions that mark this significant time period. The sign is a composite one made up of many evidences, thus its fulfillment requires that all aspects of the sign be clearly in evidence during one generation. the various aspects of the sign are recorded at Mathew chapter 24, 25, Mark 13, and Luke 21, there are further details at 2 Timothy 3:1-5, 2 peter 3:3, 4, and Revelation 6:1-8 .

Nothing!!! It guesses things that could possibly happen and when things do happen it is always the exact way it was written according to deluded people!!! No actual gods or devils exist anywhere outside of any ones inculcated minds!!! If any god did exist then it would be the only one and it would not write a book it would rule by example!!! Not words!!!

Matthew 24:7,8 Nation will rise against Nation and kingdom against kingdom...

Matthew 24:11,12 Many false prophets will arise and mislead many

Mark 13:7 wars and reports of wars

Luke 21:11 Great earthquakes, food shortages, pestilences,

2 Timothy 3:1-5 Men lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal........lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God.

All these thing are happening today, what does it mean for our future? The Bible tells us clearly, Daniel 2:44 is one scripture

    Not so encouraging news

Here is a pretty comprehensive list. 2 Timothy 3

    Perilous Times and Perilous Men

1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be

    lovers of themselves,

    lovers of money,

    boasters,

    proud,

    blasphemers,

    disobedient to parents,

    unthankful,

    unholy, 3

    unloving,

    unforgiving,

    slanderers,

    without self-control,

    brutal,

    despisers of good, 4

    traitors,

    headstrong,

    haughty,

lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5

having a form of godliness but denying its power.

And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 8 Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; 9 but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was.

    However Romans 10

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

Jesus proclaimed over and over that the world would end and he would return within a "generation" and while his apostles were still alive, so "our day" should never have happened.
