Not getting audio with a Pinnacle 710-USB?

I'm using a Pinnacle 710-USB video & audio capture device to stream a class using Adobe Connect. The device works fine for video, but isn't recognized as an audio device by my PC. I've been using a mic plugged into my mic jack to stream the audio portion, but I'd like to run the audio directly into the Pinnacle to have better-quality audio.

I'm using a Dell PC with Windows 7. I've checked the device manager, and it shows up, but in "Recording Devices" the only thing that show are the internal mics. I have Pinnacle Studio v. 14 installed, but it also doesn't show the 710 as an audio device.

    1st go to the computer manufacturer's support site, select your laptop/pc model and it should present you with a list of drivers for your machine.

    Download and update if needed

    ~reboot~

    Now go to http://pinnacle-710-usb.drivers.informer.com/ and download those drivers....

    ~reboot~

    now make sure the unit is properly connected

    now try to use it.... ? dose the issue persist?
