Furnace blower switching on and off. Limit switch or circuit board?
So my furnace is acting weird. A relay is clicking repeatedly, and the blower is going on and off with it. The burner stays on. I cleaned the flame sensor, and it was OK for bit, then did it even worse. I replaced the flame sensor, and it's still doing it, and getting worse. There's an indicator light on the circuit board, but it's showing everything fine. I checked the resistance across the limit switch, and it was 0 ohms.
I'm thinking it might be the circuit board, but I want to make sure before I replace it, since it's over $100.
5 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs6 years agoNot getting audio with a Pinnacle 710-USB?
I'm using a Pinnacle 710-USB video & audio capture device to stream a class using Adobe Connect. The device works fine for video, but isn't recognized as an audio device by my PC. I've been using a mic plugged into my mic jack to stream the audio portion, but I'd like to run the audio directly into the Pinnacle to have better-quality audio.
I'm using a Dell PC with Windows 7. I've checked the device manager, and it shows up, but in "Recording Devices" the only thing that show are the internal mics. I have Pinnacle Studio v. 14 installed, but it also doesn't show the 710 as an audio device.
1 AnswerOther - Hardware7 years agoHome A/C isn't cooling?
I recently had it serviced, because it hasn't worked for years (long story). The tech filled it with refrigerant, checked for leaks and didn't find any. The outside unit powers up and blows well, but the air doesn't get cool. I let it run for two days and it never got cool. If the capacitor was bad the outside unit wouldn't power up at all, correct? Any ideas why it isn't cooling? I want to be informed before I call the tech back. Thanks!
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoWhy Won't Netflix open in IE9?
Using Win7 64-bit. All of a sudden, I can't get to Netflix.com. When I try to go there, I get the message "IE has stopped working." When I received a message from them asking me to rate a recent DVD rental, I was able to get to them via the link in the e-mail, and it seemed to work fine. The sites that haven't worked have been netflix.com and movie.netflix.com/wiihome. I recently had a Google re-direct virus that caused links that came up in Google and Bing searches to go to other sites. Google works fine now, but Bing doesn't. I've done malware scans with Symantec Endpoint, Malware Bytes and SuperAntiSpyware. Might this be a result of the virus? This was a couple weeks ago, and I've had IE9 for several months. Windows did not update right before this started.
Netflix works fine in Firefox.
1 AnswerOther - Internet9 years agoWhy does my hamster have blood in his urine?
I noticed that my hamster appeared to have blood in his urine. What causes that, and what can I do to treat it? He eats NutriPhase and the occasional carrot, broccoli piece and yogurt drop. He drinks frequently, and he's about 18 months old.
