Is there any non-corporate owned radio station in the US that is totally independent?
That has its own programming, music or otherwise, that isn't a McBroadcaster or have the one of the same five consultants that seem to be programming most stations these days?
Radio used to be so independent. Now it's hard to tell most big city stations apart.
If there's a station like I'm asking about, can you listen online? I would love it if I could.

there are 15,425 AM and FM radio stations in the US. A large percentage of them are independent. Unfortunately, some of the independents try to copy what the biggies are doing and that makes them sound a lot like the others. Surf the web and you will find some of them.
