Radio used to be so independent. Now it's hard to tell most big city stations apart.

As I write this on late Wednesday afternoon, protesters are already lining up in the upscale area of the scheduled fundraiser. They'll probably be pushed back by authorities, and that's expected.

I don't remember many Democratic Presidents getting protesters when they visited the City of Angels. The town is overwhelmingly Democratic.

Could this be a sign of increasing disenchantment with Obama, that a liberal town like L.A. isn't letting him visit in peace?

I've called 5 different people today who practically make a major production out of showing people they have a cell phone, like they're so important, and not one of them has answered!

I always laughed hard whenever Jeff Jarrett gave someone a guitar shot ("Take that, Slap Nuts!"). It was so funny, sometimes I lost it in laughter.

I'm now wondering, what were Jarrett's guitars made out of?

Were they regular acoustic guitars without strings, or were they perhaps made of something like paper mache or thin balsa wood.

Were they maybe specially made for him (and perhaps The Honky Tonk Man)?

Did Jarrett originate the stunt?

Everyone was happy and comfortable with the old layout. Heaven Forbid people should be happy & comfortable!

They did this before last year, people hated it, and went to foreign Y/A sites that still had the old format.

I was with two friends at the mall looking at shoes, when one of them noticed that she had never seen me in sandals. The other friend said that she hadn't either.

They were right. I don't like wearing sandals. I don't understand why anyone would want to see my feet. There's nothing wrong with them, I just don't like sandals either as a fashion statement, or even in casual settings. I don't even own a pair of flip flops.

I'm kinda tall with ok legs, and my friends say that with my legs, sandals would go good with my look. They also think that I should paint my toenails, which I also don't do. No big deal if someone else does, I just don't think that it's right for me.

My friends tried to make me buy some sandals today. They even threatened to order them for me online, have them delivered to me, and then I'd have to take them. I don't want them to do that.

Am I wrong for not wearing sandals? It just seems like it's just not right for me.
