Re: President Obama's L.A. visit today?
As I write this on late Wednesday afternoon, protesters are already lining up in the upscale area of the scheduled fundraiser. They'll probably be pushed back by authorities, and that's expected.
I don't remember many Democratic Presidents getting protesters when they visited the City of Angels. The town is overwhelmingly Democratic.
Could this be a sign of increasing disenchantment with Obama, that a liberal town like L.A. isn't letting him visit in peace?

No, it's a sign of the far right wing's greater and greater reliance on bringing people from other parts of the country to appear at what they call "spontaneous protests". Remember the tea party buses with the red hand on them?
They were funded by a Republican lobbyist, Dick Armey, who founded the Tea Party. He used them to bus people to dif states to make crowds look bigger at Tea Party rallies all over the country. Hilarious but also pathetic!!

Maybe Obama wants to vacation at Disney Land? What other reason does he have for going there now? With all of the problems happening around the world, he goes to L.A?
