A Question for the ages...?

I think they invented cell phones (1) to rob as many people as possible both in buying the phone and then in the monthly service charges. I don't even understand how anyone can calmly have $200+ phone bills every month and not be worried by it. And (2) to annoy the hell out of me, get on the bus at 6am thinking it'll be a quiet ride in to work and then people get on who just have to be talking on their cells, so everyone on the whole bus can hear them, and what are they talking about???? NOTHING of any importance. Oh and (3) to make people even more neurotic and dependent on stuff that can't love them back, won't see them through the rough times, couldn't care less about you. And I guess I could list (4) to isolate people far more then before. People are so consumed with their little phones they don't notice there's a cute girl right in front of them that they could possibly hit on, or some super handsome guy right next to them that they could strike up a conversation with if you both weren't on your phones.

I kind of chuckled when I read this, only because I know a few people like this. Their answer has been they like texting and or don't like talking on the phone. Some people will text just because they don't have much to say.

Remember some people don't want to pick up the phone when : they are eating, in a bad/sad mood, sleeping, working, using the bathroom/ personal stuff, talking to someone, driving, on the phone with someone else or caring something.

Maybe everyone is screening your call.
