Fish wont eat?

I bought a betta fish about a week and a half ago. He is in an established tank. The thing is that he wont eat the pellets i try to feed him. He just stares at them and then straight at me wtf?

I've also tried feeding him tetra freeze dried bloodworms and he will eat those like a boss but only sometimes if I move it.

What should I do? Is there anything else I can try to feed him?

If you fast him for a couple days, then add about 10% pellets in with the freeze dried bloodworms he'll probably be hungry enough to grab some pellets in his haste after getting the bloodworms, so he'll at least be exposed to the pellets. Then you can gradually add in a higher pellet to bloodworm ratio.

You might also try adding in flakes - sometimes places feed exclusively flakes, and he might not recognize other things as food.

He seems picky. Try a few different brands maybe. Maybe hes not comfortable in his environment. Is the tank very bright/big?
